    BIG PICTURE: Payor/Provider relationships – Who owns the patient?

    Panellist include:

    • Daniel Ohman, CEO, GHP Healthcare Listed in Stockholm, GHP runs orthopaedic, spine, neuro and gastric clinics across Sweden, UAE and Kuwait and was an early pioneer of value health. Health insurers make up half of GHP's Swedish revenue. GHP recently won a contract to diagnose and recommend pathways for all the Swedish clientele of insurer Trygg-Hansa. Ohman remains somewhat sceptical of the depth of insurers' involvement in healthcare and has had a ringside seat on the failure of value health in Sweden.

    • Carlos Araujo, Global Provider Contract Lead, Cigna Carlos is in charge of forging stronger relationships with providers across EMEA and the Americas for Cigna with a focus on providing affordable, predictable and simple access to high-quality care for customers. Prior to joining Cigna in 2018, Carlos was the Head of International Medical Network for the Americas at AXA Partners. In this role, he defined and implemented strategic partnerships with medical providers by leveraging data and insights to identify affordability opportunities. He also served at Bupa as the Head of Providers Purchasing for Latin America and the Caribbean.

    • Sneh Khemka, VP Population Health and V Health, Aetna International Sneh is always provocative and has vast experience from setting up PMI in new countries to building large-scale programmes for National Health Systems including deep analytics. Recently he has been heavily engaged in digital health.
